NEM Zagreb 2024 program will offer abundant opportunities for CEE content creators from low-production-capacity countries to connect with colleagues from high-production-capacity countries.
The event will take place from 9-16 December in Iraq and will showcase 107 films by directors of different geographical backgrounds, in a variety of formats.
Panel discussions will provide a deep dive into topics such as the fight for public broadcasters, key aspects of content creation, the power of casting and the importance of cross-border collaboration.
By the close of 2024, the region is expected to reach nearly 2,500 screens, reflecting the rising demand for cinematic experiences across MENA, driven primarily by Saudi Arabia.
The movie is a poignant exploration of tolerance, ambition, and the transformative power of music, and underscores the Festival's commitment to showcasing the best of Arab cinema.
