The title is directed by Jean-Xavier De Lestrade (The Staircase, Murder on a Sunday morning), written and created by Alice Géraud and Marc Herpoux, and based on the investigation by Alice Géraud. Produced by What’s Up Films and Federation Studios in coproduction with Versus Production, originally commissioned by France Televisions.

The six-part political thriller series will be financed by Bravado Equity, and it's a coproduction between EIKON Media, WDR and ARD Degeto Film along with Deal Productions in Luxembourg for ARD.

Thus, "Radical" is now reaching Albania, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, among others. 

The world premiere will take place on 20 October at Pathé Amsterdam Noord. The film was made possible with the support of the Netherlands Film Fund, Netherlands Production Incentive, CoBO, Luxembourg Film Fund, and Creative Europe Media. Beta Film is the international sales agent.

The drama, which delves into the life of Franz Kafka, has been sold to North America, France, Benelux, Spain, Italy, Turkey, former Yugoslavia, Taiwan and Australia.
