The deal marks the first time Telemundo Streaming Studios is producing a series for the Warner Bros. Discovery streamer. Silvina Fredjkes and Alejandro Quesada will oversee the adaptation of the intrafamily drama, while Pablo Cullel will serve as executive producer of the project.
Written and created by Chris Cornwell (Strike Back, A Discovery of Witches), the story is inspired by the audacious true-life raids of Chinese art from museums and European collections over the last decade.
Subscribers will now have access to 800 episodes of current and legacy programming at launch from the Peabody and Primetime Emmy Award-winning CNN Original Series and HLN Original Series library.
