Launching in Summer 2024, the move will see its current streaming service UKTV Play transition to U and UKTV's family of free-to-air channels will become U&Dave, U&DRAMA, U&YESTERDAY and U&W.
The executive will join the team responsible for creating some of UKTV's most successful drama series including "Annika," "Traces," "The Diplomat," "We Hunt Together" and "Ragdoll," as well as other recently announced commissions.
All six shows included in the deal will air later this year and in early 2024 on Drama, Alibi and UKTV Play. This agreement is the first between the two companies.
