The Nordic region’s streaming company announced that the next Viaplay Original will be the Swedish drama series “Two Sisters,” an eight-part show based on the bestselling novels by Hannah Widell and Amanda Schulman.
The distributor announced new sales for the drama in the Middle East, North Macedonia and Uzbekistan. Previously, the show has already been acquired in Bosnia, Romania, Albania, Angola and Mozambique.
Fremantle closed a multi-year deal with the new production company launched by actress and writer Natalie Dormer to co-develop and distribute projects out of the partnership.
