Paramount Global's subscription revenue grew 43% to $1.34 billion from $936 million the previous year, driven by subscriber growth and pricing increases for Paramount+.
According to Antenna’s latest report, although acquisitions keep increasing, so did the churn rate, forcing the biggest SVOD players to shift their focus to a more advanced subscriber management.
"Catch Me a Killer" series has been acquired by BritBox North America, SBS Australia, UKTV's Alibi channel, BBC First in Benelux and Poland, AXN's Mystery Channel/NHK Enterprises (NEP) in Japan, and CosmoteTV Greece.
The show is being produced in Belgium before moving to York later this spring. Beta Film will distribute it worldwide, and PBS Distribution holds the North American rights to the series.
This marks the first European deal and the third territory to produce the adventure series. It is set to be showcased at Banijay’s exclusive London TV Screenings event.
