The international deal-making move, consisting of mergers and acquisitions, including Roku, derived from AT&T’s Warner Media Divison’s recent merger with Discovery, as well as a spike in streaming success and demand across the globe.
The company will distribute the upcoming series "Great Southern Truckers", being produced by Stripe Studios for Discovery Australia and New Zealand, as well as two seasons of "The Circus".
The finished tapes of the social experiment were picked up by Discovery, Talpa and SBS and the format is currently in discussion with several partners worldwide.
The streaming service will debut the show, turned viral sensation in the UK and Ireland next year in correlation with the Canadian network. Distribution360 will globally distribute the show.
