The seven-part series based on Anne Rice’s best-selling novel and produced by Jessica Held and Adam O’Byrne, will become available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
All six shows included in the deal will air later this year and in early 2024 on Drama, Alibi and UKTV Play. This agreement is the first between the two companies.
MNET, BritBox, Arena Broadcasting, SuperSport Africa, CBS AMC and BBC Studios are among the list of companies that have acquired a range of titles for viewers in Africa.
BBC pre-bought Season 2, and TV3 acquired Season 1 and Season 2, whilst RAI, BYUtv, RTL Nederland, and AMC Networks International stepped in for Season 1.
More than 200 episodes from seven different AMC Networks’ series will be added to Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service Max over a two-month period.
