The Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have met again on Wednesday, a reunion that concluded with “mixed results”.
The event will now take place on 15 January in Los Angeles, scheduled to air 5-8 p.m. PT/8-11 p.m. ET on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and broadcasting live on Fox and from the Peacock Theater at LA Live.
The actors and writers’ strike is not only having an impact at a production level, but also at a financial one, as now the union’s own members are being pushed into precarious financial situations.
Representatives of the Writers Guild of America and the major studios met for the first time in three months, but there were no immediate signs of a breakthrough in the months-long labor standoff.
