The greatest global commissioner of TV shows in 2021 was Discovery, with a record-breaking 556 first-run TV show titles commissioned in the year, Ampere Analysis revealed in its latest report.
There were 559 scripted original series for adults last year, up 13% from a decline in 2020, according to research performed by Disney General Entertainment and FX.
