Cottonwood Media, in co-production with Opéra de Paris and international broadcasters Hulu, ZDF, ZDF Studios, and France Télévisions, have joined forces to produce the premium live-action tween series “Spellbound.”
France Télévisions is teaming up with public broadcasters CBC (Canada), ZDF (Germany), Channel 4 (UK), SVT (Sweden), ORF (Austria), and ABC (Australia) to launch a major global co-funding initiative.
Netflix, Canal+, France Télévisions, Newen Studios Group are among the raft of broadcasters, studios and Government entities that will support the mentoring programme called A Woman’s Journey.
The film seeks to discover the origin of the animals and plants that inhabit the planet, how life rebuilt itself after the asteroid and why some species survived while others did not.
The original documentary is set to roll out this Spring on Love Nature’s global linear and streaming platforms, on Sky Nature in the U.K., Italy and Germany; France Télévisions in France; SVT in Sweden; and NHK in Japan. Blue Ant International will distribute the title outside of its co-producing territories.
