The agreement consists of Lionsgate investing in a 20% stake, and acquiring titles such as “Fruitvale Station,” “The King's Speech,” “Scream 4,” and “Scary Movie 5," among various other titles.
US studio Lionsgate has hired former Amazon Prime Video executive Ryan Lowerre as President of Domestic Television and Digital Distribution. He will oversee the distribution and licensing of the company’s film and TV library.
ScreenHits TV announced that Lionsgate will bring the studio’s premium on-demand film content to the super aggregator platform via Lionsgate’s AVOD and linear channel, Moviesphere.
