Scopely, one of the largest privately held mobile-first video game companies, and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced an agreement for Scopely to acquire GSN Games, a division of Game Show Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of SPE.
The streamer will begin testing mobile games inside its Android app for its paying subscribers in Poland. At launch, users will be able to try out two games: “Stranger Things: 1984” and “Stranger Things 3”.
Ampere analyzed Disney+ Hotstar’s new pricing plans in India, where the previous two-pronged pricing plan will be replaced by a three-tiered system, with the basic plan exclusively for mobile streaming.
The two seasons of the series will launch on Youku platform in November, and will be available to stream, both online and through the Youku mobile app.
