Cineflix Rights has signed pre-sale deals with Nordic broadcasters SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway), YLE (Finland), and TV2 (Denmark) for its hotly-anticipated crime procedural “Whitstable Pearl”.

The documentary, produced by Finestripe Productions, has been pre-sold to broadcasters in the Nordic and Auropean regions, such as TV4 in Sweden, YLE in Finland, TV2 in Denmark, NRK in Norway, and BBC Poland, with deals in other regions currently under discussion.

Broadcasters around the world including BBC, RAI, YLE, NRK, and Sky Network Television have picked up the series directed by award-winning filmmakers Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.

A hit for four seasons on Australia’s Channel Nine, international distributor Eccho Rights has now secured deals for the series to air on Sweden’s SVT, NRK in Norway and YLE in Finland.

The sales agreements were made with SBS (Australia), AMC Networks International (Southern Europe) and TVO (Canada). The series was originally produced for RUV Iceland, DR Denmark, NRK Norway, SVT Sweden, and YLE Finland.
