Produced by Conspiração and developed by Ventre Studios, "D-Lux" dives into the prêt-à-porter fashion world and is loosely based on the real-life story of businesswoman Eliana Tranchesi and the transformation of Daslu into a symbol of luxury in the Brazilian fashion market.
The series will combine BBC Studios’ world-renowned expertise in documentary filmmaking with Globo’s unparalleled journalistic strength in telling compelling stories from Brazil.
Prior to its television debut, "La Favorita 1922" had already been pre-sold in over 20 territories, and with HBO Max now adding Latin America, will be available in 70 international markets.
The film is directed by Arturo Montenegro and Aaron Bromley. The deal was negotiated during Iberseries Platino Industria, reinforcing the company’s strategy of representing the most innovative contemporary Latin American cinema.
"The Guest" will debut on Friday, October 17, on streaming and on demand on Paramount+ for Premium plan subscribers before its on-air debut Sunday, October 19, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount+ with Showtime in the US.
