Under the ruling, Nordvpn, Cyberghost, Surfshark, Expressvpn, and Proton must restrict access to sites illegally streaming UEFA Champions League, Premier League, and Top 14 matches, for which Canal+ holds exclusive broadcasting rights in France.
In their new roles, they will report to Alex Hamilton, Chief International Officer Studiocanal and replace Kalle Friz who, after 16 years, will leave the company in July.
The company also recently announced a deal with RTVE in Spain, where the series will air this spring, and it is currently airing on DR, Canal+ France, Czech TV, RTV Slovenia, RTBF, and RTS.
This is a strong commitment on the part of Air France, which devotes 30% of its entertainment offer to French productions, with its selection of films and TV series. In total, around 100 CANAL+ programmes will be available at the time of launch in French, subtitled and adapted for the deaf and hard of hearing.
