Viewers in the United States are streaming video across a variety of devices. In fact, 71% say that on the average day they stream on at least two devices, according to Penthera’s “2021 US Streaming Video Report”.
46% of Latinos in the United States prefer consuming AVOD services instead of pay TV (20%), ad-supported subscription video-on-demand (16%), SVOD (14%) and live video (5%), according to Penthera's newest report.
While 87.8% of adult internet users in Latin America said they watched subscription video content, 70.4% reported viewing content on free AVOD platforms, according to data from eMarketer and Penthera.
In a survey conducted across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina by Penthera, 90% of viewers said they watch content on mobile, with 56% citing it as their preferred viewing device over CTV and PC.
Across the globe, 90% of users have been frustrated trying to stream video, 70% of users expect streaming services to include a download feature, and 69% of users would pay more to have a downloading feature, according to Penthera.
