Estimates show that 4.5% of the population, representing 17.1 million people, have watched internet streamed TV (live or catch-up) from unauthorized online sources in Europe in 2021, according to the Audiovisual Anti-Piracy Alliance.
The current series, airing across ITV2 and ITV Hub, launched to a consolidated 5.0 million viewers across all devices (including catch-up across TV, mobile, PC, and tablet), up on 2021 by +0.2m making it the highest launch since 2019.
UK broadcasters are reportedly looking to reach an agreement by November to create a single streaming app that would act as a gateway to their catch-up and on-demand services.
The show's consolidated viewing in the region, including catch-up and online streaming audiences, brought in an average of 2.1 million viewers, which helped boost Seven’s timeslot audience by an average of +105% in 25-54s and +95%.
