Police procedural "Saint-Pierre" will have a second season, and Canadian Screen Award-nominated dramas "Allegiance", “Heartland" and "Murdoch Mysteries" also set to return.
The executive will be responsible of the company's content strategy, leading the production and development teams, with a focus on high-end documentary, entertainment and formats, as well as the company’s heartland sports content.
The deal consists of 429 episodes across 11 different series and four movies, including 14 seasons of Canada’s longest running one-hour scripted drama “Heartland,” Gordon Ramsay’s award-winning “Hell’s Kitchen,” and the comedy-drama superhero series “The Greatest American Hero."
The deal gives the distributor AVOD rights to 214 episodes across 13 seasons of the CBC’s family drama as well as the TV movie “A Heartland Christmas.”
