The “Power” universe series is executive produced by Kemp, the creator and showrunner of the original “Power,” through her production company End of Episode; Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, through G-Unit Film and Television; Mark Canton, through Canton Entertainment; Chris Selak; Kevin Fox; and Pete Chatmon, who also serves as a director. Lionsgate Television will produce “Power: Origins” for Starz.

The ad-supported diginet will debut in January 2026 across 60% of U.S. TV households, leveraging Lionsgate’s extensive film library and marking a strategic move into over-the-air distribution.

The premium drama has been acquired by broadcasters and streamers across Europe, Asia, and Oceania, including ARTE, BBC Studios, Lionsgate Play, SVT, and TVNZ.
