M7 Deutschland and Deutsche Netzmarketing (DNMG) are set to expand their partnership in the German cable TV market. “We are proud of the long-standing, successful cooperation with DNMG, which we will continue and further deepen in the long term via the extended framework agreement,” said Marco Hellberg, Managing Director of Eviso Germany, the M7 business partner in Germany.
As part of the extended new agreement, more than 200 network operators served by industry association DNMG can now access all services, content and rights including IPTV rights from M7 – through a single contract. “The new DNMG network operator agreement offers a large number of exclusive benefits that make it even easier for network operators to excite existing customers and attract new customers with an attractive, modern and future-proof TV offering,” Hellberg said.
All free-TV and pay-TV packages now have access to additional features in the IPTV area,including multi-screen and screen recording abilities.“We are very pleased to be able to contractually secure the bundled purchase of a portfolio that is unique in the market with our partner M7 for many years to come,” said DNMG Managing Director Ingo Schuchert.
DNMG network operators can also additionally provide a new Ultra HD channel to cable TV households free of cost. “ Above all, the expansion to include IPTV rights and time-shifted TV consumption provides DNMG network operators with a solid basis for offering their end customers innovative services for a wide variety of forms of TV and media use,” Schuchert said.
