Fox Entertainment recently promoted Brooke Bowman to the role of executive VP, drama programming and development. “Brooke has been an important and trusted part of our team, playing an invaluable role in helping shape and implement our blueprint to expand and diversify Fox’s slate,”Michael Thorn, President of entertainment for Fox Entertainment, said.
The LA-based executive has been contributing to the company for the past six years as a Senior VP of Drama Programming and Development. She will now be tasked with supervising the development and production of new and returning scripted drama series for the network. Uppon assuming her new role, she will report to Thorn.
During her time at Fox Entertainment, Bowman has overseen series including "The Resident," "Lethal Weapon," "Prodigal Son," "BH90210," "Rosewood," "Scream Queens" and "Sleepy Hollow," as well as upcoming series "The Cleaning Lady" and "Monarch."“Supremely creative, well-respected across town and fearless in taking big swings, she is primed to take over the reins, and I’m excited to have her alongside as we steer our drama strategy well into the future," Thorn said.
Prior to joining Fox Entertainment, Bowman garnered 12 years of experience at Freeform, most recently as senior VP of development and programming. During that time, she oversaw shows including Baby Daddy, Shadowhunters, Switched at Birth, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Greek, Bunheads and Young & Hungry.
