ITV'S "WE WANT MORE" WRAPS UP A STRONG FIRST SEASON

The brand-new singing competition "We Want More", created by John de Mol, rounded up a fantastic first season on SBS6 and has been renewed for a second season. The final episode dominated Sunday evening, attracting more than 1 million viewers with a market share of 20.7% in the key demo (25-59). Maintaining a loyal audience each week, with almost 1 million viewers (938.100), the first season scored an impressive +160.3% above slot average in market share in the key demo.

Distributed by ITV Studios, "We Want More" caters to talent in all ages from 8 to 88, ranging from a happy gospel choir to a country duo, and from bands to soloist, all talented singers are welcome. The 11 best candidates performed in the grand finale on Sunday. Winners Iris & Tiago wowed the jury of five big names from the singing world, the 25 guest experts, and the viewers at home, securing the grand prize of €100.000.

"We Want More" is a studio singing show that spans all genres, ages, and styles. From country duos to solo divas, to reggae grandads, talented performers sing for the expert five judges with the hope of making it through to the next stage. As they progress through the competition, they get the chance to spend some cash on improving their act, but will they spend wisely? If they make it to the second round, the acts then perform for the panel and 25 guest experts. Only the highest-scoring candidates get a place on a hot seat and make it through to the final. In the final, the panel and 25 experts are joined by the viewers at home to vote for the final winners, who walk away with a cash prize.
