KANAL D’S "BACK STREETS" CONTINUES TO GET HIGH RATINGS

With its 562º episode broadcasted last Friday, "Back Streets" ranked as the number one program among Total Group, with an average of 6.89% rating and 17.18% share.

The classic series of Turkey’s Friday nights, "Back Streets," continues its journey on Kanal D with great success. With its 562º episode broadcasted last Friday, "Back Streets" ranked as the number one program among Total Group, with an average of 6.89% rating and 17.18% share.

After its premiere on July 31, 2006, "Back Streets" turned into the longest weekly series of Turkish television in terms of year and episode. The show also has one of the most crowded cast among Turkish titles, with its experienced leading actors Zafer Ergin, Şevket Çoruh, Özgür Ozan, and İlker İnanoğlu.

"Back Streets" tells the adventures of a special police squad in Istanbul. While they are chasing after crime and criminals in Istanbul streets every week, the members of the squad create a strong bond with the audience. The show is produced by Erler Film, directed by Orhan Oğuz, and written by Ozan and Sinan Yurdakul
