OLYMPUSAT TAKES ORF'S SPANISH DUBBED TV SERIES AND MOVIES

The ORF-Enterprise portfolio consists of a wide range of TV-Movies and TV-Series. The Austrian fictional content is set to air on Ultra Macho, Ultra Familia and Ultra Docu.

Olympusat has taken on a package of fictional content from ORF-Enterprise's portfolio, consisting of a wide range of TV-Movies and TV-Series. "We are pleased to see that the footprint of Austrian fictional content continues to grow in territories all over the world," Armin Luttenberger,  Head of Content Sales International, said. "The deal with Olympusat now makes ORF’s rich fiction catalog available to Spanish-speaking audiences." 

Ultra Film will air "Carve The Joint," known in Spanish as "El Bromista" and "Death on Ice" ("Muerte en el Hielo") from ORF's crime strand Backwoods Crimes. "CopStories" Historias de Policia will also be featured.  "We have a solid track record of identifying content that will be successful and ORF productions enable us to significantly expand our library," says John Baghdassarian, Vice President, Content Acquisitions and Strategy at Olympusat. "We’re always looking for ways to increase the wealth of choice available to viewers."

The detective series "The Nosy Brothers," which is translated into "Detectives for Accidente," along with "Janus," "Psicología del Crimen," and ORF's best-rated series "Fast Forward  ("Intuicion Criminal") will be shown on Ultra Macho. 

The prehistoric comedy mini-series "Stone Age Affairs," translated into "Romance en la Edad de Piedra," premiered on Ultra Familia. "Spotlight Murder" ("Asesinato En La Mira") also showcases reenactments of murders on Ultra Docu.
