UK's Barb has released data from its Establishment Survey showing that 20 million UK homes had access to an SVOD service, a slight dip from 20.1 million UK homes (68.8%) in Q2.

The data comes from a report by the consultancy Barb. The channel continues to grow its overall audience, with a 4% year on year increase in viewing across streaming and linear combined in August, set against an average 10% drop among commercial PSBs.

A new research by Barb revealed that the SVOD penetration in the UK has seen an increase of 0.7m households since Q4 2023.
