New French class satire joins a high-profile lineup including "Mozart Mozart", "Empathy", "Velvet New York", "The Couple Next Door – Deadly Attraction", and "The Great Chimera", as Beta targets buyers in Cannes with top-tier scripted content from around the world.

The 8x1h thriller, which premiered to acclaim at the Sarajevo Film Festival, expands Beta Film’s Balkan slate alongside award-winning titles like “Operation Sabre,” “I Know Your Soul,” and “Shattered Bonds,” reinforcing its position as a leading distributor of high-end regional dramas.

The historical epic, already breaking ratings records in Hungary and winning strong youth audiences on ORF, lands deals with Rai, HRT, Telekom Deutschland, and more, with CBC GEM to launch the series in Canada on September 19.

From the showrunner of the international hit "Sisi", this contemporary period series for ARD and ORF is driven by a unique musical score that fuses Mozart’s iconic compositions with a contemporary edge. Bavaria Media and Beta Film are handling international sales. 

The six-part prequel series "Gomorrah – Origins" is set to premiere in January 2026 on Sky and streaming only on NOW. Beta Film handles international sales.
