The UK independent distribution event welcomed 850 key international buyers from across the world and companies' founders – All3Media International, Banijay Entertainment, Fremantle and ITV Studios – confirmed plans are already under way for next year.

Originally developed and produced by Hasbro Entertainment, Mattel Television Studios and Lionsgate Alternative for The CW, David Garfinkle, Gabriel Marano, and Michelle Mendelovitz served as executive producers.

The series is produced by Gaumont UK with the support of ZDFneo in Germany. Stella Merz ("Gentleman Jack," "Renegade Nell") joins as producer, and Catherine Morshead ("Daddy Issues," "The Full Monty") will direct the series. International sales will be handled by Fremantle.

Fremantle has picked up the format for co-distribution, with Nippon TV distributing in Asia (excluding Indonesia, India and Singapore), and Fremantle distributing in rest of world.
