Polar+ has acquired the four-part drama for France, while Filmin has signed digital rights for Portugal and Spain, and EITB has secured TV rights for Spain’s Basque region.

It´s a six-part psychological thriller based on former police officer Anders de la Motte’s bestselling Swedish novel of the same name. Viaplay Content Distribution has pre-sold the series to partners in more than 40 markets.

The crime heist drama series will become available on POLAR+ in France, by Lionsgate+ in Brazil and by Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) in Australia. It is also available in Portugal via the SVOD platform OPTO/SIC where it begin airing in March 2022.

The complete deal, including re-licenses, will give POLAR+ subscribers access to over 85 hours of Banijay Rights’ high-end scripted shows and TV movies. The title on the slate are scheduled to be released later this year.
