Production company Cwmni Da will be dubbing the series to Welsh and it will be broadcasted under the name "Y Smyrffs" on SC4 in 2025.

The project, titled “Transforming S4C’s Digital Future” and running until December 2025, will focus on exploring the future of S4C’s audiences, its distribution, and the prominence of public service broadcasting in the digital age. Its ultimate aim is to ensure that S4C’s Welsh-language content is easily discoverable both in Wales and across the UK.

Geraint is S4C's Interim Chief Content Officer, and leads the commissioning team. He will start his new role in January 2025 and Sioned Wiliam will continue as Interim Chief Executive until then.

Some of the returning original scripted titles are "Y Golau: Dŵr"; "Anfamol"; "Dal y Mellt" and "Bariau".

The new thriller star by Elen Rhys will be shown on Welsh language TV channel S4C in October and will be globally distributed by Banijay Rights.
