This Flemish adaptation is the fifth version of the hit studio entertainment format created by Remarkable Entertainment, part of Banijay UK.

Banijay announced that Mastiff TV Denmark, part of Banijay Nordic, will adapt “Starstruck” for DR1, marking the fourth deal for the hit studio entertainment format.

Following its successful launch to a consolidated 4.7 million viewers on ITV in the UK this year and a confirmed re-commission for a second series, Canal 13 in Chile will produce and broadcast a local version of “Starstruck.”

The romantic comedy series, produced by Avalon Television Production, and created by Rose Matafeo and Claire McCarthy, is set to become available on ABC iview or weekly on ABCT., starting 16th February.
