The deal with the network includes access to upcoming PPV events and current WWE originals on its premium subscription, and a new WWE channel, plus select WWE original shows and weekly new episodes of “Raw Talk” and “The Bump" on its free version.
WWE reported that its subscription streaming service, WWE Network, averaged 1.5 million paid subscribers during the fourth quarter of last year, an increase of 6% from 1.41 million during the previous-year period.
The pro wrestling subscription streaming video platform saw paid subscriptions increase 6% in the second quarter, ended June 30, to finish the period with 1.69 million. It was the first quarterly video sub increase since the fourth quarter of 2018.
