Australian Logie-winning comedy-horror series "Crazy Fun Park", distributed by ACTF, will air across the United States after being acquired by streaming giant Hulu. The series is scheduled to premiere Sunday 1 October as part of Hulu’s highly-anticipated “Huluween” programming.

"Crazy Fun Park" tells the story of two best friends, Chester and Mapplethorpe, so close that even death can’t keep them apart. After Mapplethorpe is killed at an abandoned theme park, Chester discovers that his friend’s soul has stuck around, along with the ghosts of other teenagers who have died at the fun park since 1979.

"Crazy Fun Park" premiered to Australian audiences on the ABC in January 2023 and is now available to watch on iview. The series will premiere in a number of different territories over the coming months after being acquired by broadcasters in Spain, Finland, Norway, Lithuania, Belgium, Slovenia, Taiwan, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

ACTF CEO Jenny Buckland said: “'Crazy Fun Park' is a clever, funny and unique series, full of horror and humour interwoven with a moving narrative about friendship and grief and pop culture references that appeal to a wide demographic. Set in an eerie world full of ghosts and ghouls, 'Crazy Fun Park' takes audiences on a wild and unforgettable ride, and we know that US audiences will enjoy every minute of it.”

"Crazy Fun Park" is a Werner Film Productions series, produced for the ABC and Cceated by Nicholas Verso. Major production investment from Screen Australia and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation in association with VicScreen and the ABC.
