Academy Award-nominated Producer and Actor Waleed Zuaiter announced the launch of his new production company, FlipNarrative. “Audiences have shifted to TV in droves, increasing pressure on studios to offer content that reflects the ‘real world’, but despite this, Hollywood and the industry still appears to be averse to making inclusive films and TV shows that are truly reflective of international audiences," Waleed Zuaiter, Co-Founder and CEO of FlipNarrative, said.

The Artist Partnership and Echo Lake Entertainment, will both represent and consult FlipNarrative to strengthen and reinforce the company’s strategy of shining a light on misrepresentted and unvoices groups to attract worldwide viewership. The newly formed TV and film development and production company features a Development Fund to choose and hold Intellectual property and access the rights of other producers, broadcaster, and streamers. Controlling the IP will allow the company to negotiate more effectively with investors, and find more global distribution partners.

FlipNarrative will put race, gender, and equality at the heart of everything it does in a bid to challenge the lack of diversity in the global creative TV & Film industries.  “We want an inclusive and diverse industry to become a reality, not a priority, where we can undo the fiction that has informed so much of popular culture," Zuaiter said. Some of the high-end projects on its slate includes  “The Valley” about the illicit drug trade in Lebanon and “Perception," a documentary about a world-renowned artist, El Seed, currently in post-production.

The globally-facing Middle-East, U.S and UK based company  “OMAR” has new culturally representative projects in the works alongside Middle Eastern, North American and South Asian creatives. “Discerning talent is always looking for unique and ground-breaking material - put the two together and the result is exceptional work," Roger Charteris, co-owner and CEO The Artists Partnership and sister company, The Development Partnership, said.
