With the second part on air in Brazil, 'All The Flowers' is one of the highlights of Globo's portfolio at the LA Screenings Independents 2023, an event that brings together the main names in the global audiovisual industry. The production is already guaranteed to be broadcasted in the Americas, via a strategic partnership. The telenovela will be available on ViX+, TelevisaUnivision's streaming service, before any other platform in the Americas.
“Globo has been stablished in the market and is internationally renowned for the quality of its stories. In the case of 'All The Flowers', the production has all the aspects of a prime-time telenovela, but because it is developed ready for streaming, it provides new possibilities for consumption. We are happy with its repercussion and the good receptivity of the public, which strengthen the company as a producer of content in the most diverse formats. In addition, the telenovela is a creation of João Emanuel Carneiro, author of 'Brazil Avenue', a great success in Brazil and in the international market", comments Angela Colla, Head of International Business and Coproductions al Globo.
Created and written by João Emanuel Carneiro (‘Brazil Avenue’) with artistic direction by Carlos Araujo (‘Once We Were Six’), the Globoplay Original telenovela was designed and developed for streaming following a format inaugurated by ‘Hidden Truths 2’ on the platform. The plot features Regina Casé (‘A Mother’s Love’), Sophie Charlotte (‘Iron Island’, ‘Dark Days’, ‘The Party’), Leticia Colin (‘Where My Heart Is’), Fabio Assunção (‘Total Dreamer’, ‘Where My heart Is’, ‘Unsoul 2’), Humberto Carrão (‘Rota 66: The Killer Unit’), Caio Castro (‘Sweet Diva’ and ‘Looks & Essence’), Mariana Nunes (‘A Life to Die For’), Nicolas Prattes (‘Rock Story’, ‘Crashing Into the Future’), among other great names, in the cast.
Author renowned for building dubious characters and writing telenovelas with surprising hooks, João Emanuel Carneiro talks about how he brings these characteristics to the plot: “In ‘All The Flowers’ we have conflicting and interesting characters. The audience enjoys this kind of challenge. For the second part, you can expect a game changer. Who’s in purgatory or in heaven? You’re the ones to decide”, stated the author.
