All3Media International will present Wonderhood’s upcoming documentary “The Trial of Michael Jackson” (w/t) at MIPCOM in Cannes, alongside a slate of star-studded dramas featuring Gillian Anderson, Gemma Arterton, Sheridan Smith, and Paapa Essiedu, as well as returning hit series and bold new unscripted formats. Premium documentaries joining the distributor’s impressive line-up include Story Films’ “The Moonies: Married to the Cult” (w/t) and Wonderhood’s “The Trial of Michael Jackson” (w/t), both available for pre-sale.

Wonderhood Studios’ “The Trial of Michael Jackson” (w/t) (4 x 1 hour) offers a compelling and insightful re-examination of Michael Jackson’s 2005 trial. Commissioned by Channel 4, the series will feature contributors speaking publicly for the first time and will use extensive archive footage to explore Jackson’s relationship with the media. It also examines how the global pop icon lived under constant public scrutiny, while addressing broader questions about race, fame, journalistic ethics, and the American justice system.

Also from Story Films comes “The Moonies: Married to the Cult” (w/t) (1 x 1½ hours), a gripping feature documentary coming to Prime Video exclusively in the UK. Known for their mass weddings, the Unification Church—founded by Reverend Moon—has long claimed to promote world peace, but beneath its pageantry lie dark secrets. The film delivers unprecedented access to insiders, including Rev. Moon’s son speaking out for the first time, revealing a story of faith, power, scandal, and control.

All3Media International’s unscripted slate also features new factual entertainment, travel, and wildlife titles. From Silverback Films, “Hidden Wild Isles” (4 x 1 hour) follows wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin as he uncovers hidden natural treasures across the British Isles. “Wild Homes with George Clarke” (6 x 1 hour) from Perpetual Entertainment explores extraordinary island homes across New Zealand and Australia, while Southern Pictures’ “Beyond Bali: The World’s Most Exotic Islands” (8 x 1 hour) sees chef and author Lara Lee embark on a culinary and cultural journey across Indonesia.

Leading the scripted line-up is “Trespasses” (4 x 1 hour), from the award-winning Wildgaze team behind “An Education” and “Brooklyn.” Starring Gillian Anderson, Lola Petticrew, and Tom Cullen, the series tells a story of forbidden love in 1970s Northern Ireland. Other key dramas include Freedom Pictures’ “Summerwater” (6 x 1 hour), Potboiler Films’ espionage thriller “Secret Service” (5 x 1 hour) starring Gemma Arterton and Rafe Spall, and Snowed-In Productions’ moving new BBC drama “Babies” (6 x 1 hour), led by Paapa Essiedu and Siobhán Cullen. Also launching internationally is the critically acclaimed “I Fought the Law” (4 x 1 hour), starring BAFTA-winner Sheridan Smith as Ann Ming, the woman who challenged the UK’s Double Jeopardy Law to bring her daughter’s killer to justice.

Returning favourites include “Trigger Point” (Season 3, with Season 4 already commissioned), Playground’s “All Creatures Great and Small” (Season 6), and new seasons of “Brokenwood Mysteries,” “Ridley,” and “Mystery Road: Origin.” On the formats front, All3Media International continues to lead with the global hit “The Traitors” (1 hour), now adapted in over 30 territories and fresh from five Emmy wins for its U.S. version on Peacock. New reality game format “The Inheritance” (1 hour), from Studio Lambert and Motion Entertainment, will debut on Channel 4 this autumn with Elizabeth Hurley as host, while international buyers can also acquire Studio Lambert’s hit social experiment “The Circle” (1 hour), which continues to expand globally following successful runs on Netflix, Channel 4, and beyond.
