In correlation with the launch, All3Media International is working in collaboration with Monty Don and producer Alexandra Henderson to create "Gardening with Monty Don." The original new FAST channel dedicated to content features the horticulturalist, writer and broadcaster, which includes the creation of exclusive new ‘compilation’ episodes of content hosted by Monty Don, created for the channel. Following the channel’s North American debut on The Roku Channel in November, launching alongside channels focused on key talent, the channel has extended distribution in the territory through Plex, Tubi and Xumo Play, with additional patforms currently being considered for Q3 2023.
New content is being filmed for the channel, including introductions by Monty Don and exclusive compilation episodes hosted by Monty Don. The channel will join others featuring the acclaimed gardener including the legendary long running Gardeners’ World as well as My Dream Farm and Big Dreams, Small Spaces. In addition, to celebrate the "Coronation of the British Monarch" in May, Alexandra Henderson has worked with All3Media International to form a compilation featuring King Charles and the Queen Consort Camilla with Monty at Highgrove House, the Royal couple's country home and Longmeadow, Monty’s own garden, to air over the Coronation weekend across America.
The partnerships for "Gardening with Monty Don" reflect All3media International's efforts to leverage its digital presence. The company achieved significant growth in FAST activity during 2022 and across the start of 2023, including building the distribution footprint for "So… Real," its channel dedicated to lifestyle and reality content, and the single-IP channel dedicated to Midsomer Murders, which it has created new original material for with John Nettles. It has also launched single-IP channels for viewer favorites such as "Homes Under the Hammer," "Great British Menu" and "Fifth Gear."
