All3Media International has partnered with Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on a new true crime title package from BAFTA-winning producer Story Films, which will debut on Prime Video UK later this year. All3Media International will act as global partner and handle international distribution rights across the rest of the world.
Produced by Story Films, the five true crime titles will each spotlight a gripping real-life case, blending exclusive interviews, compelling evidence, archive footage, and new revelations. "The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani?" explores the death of Anni Dewani, the bride who didn’t survive her honeymoon, while "A Killer's Confession" reveals how detectives were forced into an evil game of cat and mouse with killer Christopher Halliwell.
Also featured in the collaboration are "Hunting the Yorkshire Ripper", which uncovers how police tracked down a hoaxer who allowed a serial killer to continue his murderous spree, and "The London Railway Murders", which delves into the story of two childhood friends turned killers—and the fierce group of women who brought them to justice. Finally, "#FindBecky" (w/t) unravels the murder of Becky Watts, a case that pushes toxic family dynamics to their most extreme.
Winner of multiple awards, including the ‘Factual Series’ award for To Catch a Copper at the recent 2025 BAFTA TV Awards, renowned producer Story Films specialises in premium documentary and high-end scripted drama. A part of All3Media, Story Films was founded by BAFTA-winning filmmakers David Nath and Peter Beard.
Adam Hopkins, Head of Factual at Story Films, expressed pride in being able to tell these stories:“These cases all captured national and international attention. Now we’re honoured to be able to tell the full stories—filming with the families and friends devastated by these shocking crimes, as well as the investigative and legal teams who pursued justice. We have a brilliant team producing these documentaries, expertly crafting programmes that follow the compelling twists and turns in the quest for truth, and we’re excited that our fantastic global partners at All3Media International will be launching the titles around the world;" stated.
Meanwhile, Rachel Job, SVP Unscripted at All3Media International, praised their partners: “We’re delighted to partner with the brilliant team at Prime Video UK to bring this compelling true crime documentary package to screens. Story Films are renowned for powerful and captivating storytelling that resonates with global audiences, and this new slate is no exception. With exclusive access to those closest to the cases, rich archival material, and revelatory new evidence, each documentary will delve deep into crimes where nothing is as it seems—skilfully unravelling twist-filled stories designed to captivate both UK and international viewers," noted.
Offering a revelatory take on one of the most enduring crime stories of recent times, "The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani?" explores the case of Anni Dewani—the bride who didn’t survive her honeymoon—and Shrien Dewani, the groom left stranded abroad while police and global media began questioning his involvement. Combining exclusive interviews with Anni’s family and Shrien’s defence counsel, along with archive including CCTV, police interviews, and court proceedings, "The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani?" takes viewers on a journey of untruths and shifting blame, adding new information and perspectives as the story unfolds.
"A Killer's Confession" explores a killer’s evil game of cat and mouse with detectives, and a mother’s relentless quest for justice. In 2011, Christopher Halliwell confessed to killing two women, even taking police to their burial sites. But Halliwell was not under caution when he made these admissions, and during later police interviews, he refused to acknowledge what he’d previously confessed. With exclusive contributions from those closest to the case, "A Killer's Confession" introduces the investigative team who faced an extraordinary dilemma as they navigated the mind of a monster—featuring new in-depth interviews with Karen Edwards, the mother who would not accept that the man who once admitted killing her daughter could walk free.
In the late 1970s, infamous serial killer the Yorkshire Ripper seemed to taunt police with handwritten letters and eerie audio tapes. In reality, Peter Sutcliffe was operating in the shadows—while police had been misled by a costly hoax. "Hunting the Yorkshire Ripper" features former Detective Chief Superintendent Chris Gregg, then a rookie on the case. Haunted by the hoaxer’s voice for decades, Gregg later led a cold case team to track down the man who had diverted investigators from Sutcliffe, allowing him to continue killing. Their confrontation decades later delivers a dramatic climax.
A dynamic, female-led documentary, "The London Railway Murders" tells the story of two childhood friends who became killers—and the determined group of women, both police officers and victims, who brought them down. In 1998, ten years after the so-called ‘Railway Killer’ was imprisoned, a series of eerily similar attacks raised suspicions: was it a copycat, or had the real killer never been caught? A shocking confession revealed the truth—the Railway Killer had an accomplice. Combining new, emotional first-person accounts with dramatic archive footage, "The London Railway Murders" is ultimately a story of justice, told by the women who refused to stop until it was served.
Unfolding like a real-life psychological thriller, "#FindBecky" (w/t) explores the murder of 16-year-old Becky Watts. When Becky disappeared from her home, the nationwide search captivated the public. But as police investigated, the illusion of a ‘perfect family life’ began to crack—uncovering a dark obsession and a killer hiding in plain sight. Combining intimate testimony from Becky’s friends with insights from the detectives on the case, "#FindBecky" (w/t) reveals what happens when the most dangerous people are not strangers, but disturbingly close to home.
