Alps Studios is an Italian company founded in 2019 that focuses on providing high quality services for the audiovisual entertainment industry, from Animation to Production, R&D and Learning, specializing in Visual Effects.

Currently, Alps Studios has four divisions: Alps VFX that focuses on providing high quality digital effects for feature films, TV series, commercials and music videos; Alps Animation that focuses on animating 2D and 3D projects; Alps Studios that is passionate about teaching the next generation of VFX artists and Alps LAB where the company explores new solutions.

Alps Studios has recently worked on the visual effects of "Dampyr", a fantasy horror movie based on the comic book series of the same name, produced by Bonelli Entertainment with Eagle Pictures and Brandon Box. The film premiered in Italian cinemas on October 28 simultaneously with its presentation at Lucca Comics & Games 2022.

"Dampyr" was directed by Riccardo Chemello and written by Mauro Boselli, Maurizio Colombo and Giovanni Masi. Alps Studio handled all aspects of the visual effects in Pre-Production, On-Set Supervision and during Post Production. With an in-house team of nearly 60, Alps was able to tackle a large part of the visual effects in house, focusing on the most complex FX and environment work.

Alps also enlisted the help of 7 other VFX studios around the world: Imago VFX, Primal Shape and Frame By Frame, all fellow Italian VFX and animation studios, Mist VFX Studio, Spellbound VFX And Animation and Ellipse VFX Studio from India, and Mercury Visual Solutions from Egypt. Alps supervised and coordinated all of the work carried out by the other studios and took care of managing all client communication. Overall the VFX crew, under the leadership of Alps, completed over 700 VFX shots for Dampyr.
