Emma Miller and Carrie Gillogly, Co-Heads of Scripted Development at AMC Networks, are leaving their current roles at the company to join Netflix. Miller has already joined the streamer as Director of Overall Deals and Series for the United States and Canada, while Gillogly, whose deal is expected to close soon, will be named Director of Drama Series for the United States and Canada.

Miller and Gillogly were promoted to head up scripted programming at AMC Networks back in 2020, with the two reporting to Ben Davis, Executive Vice President of Scripted Programming. Gillogly originally joined the company in 2012, while Miller did so in 2014. Gillogly oversaw shows including “Into The Badlands” and “The Terror,” while Miller worked on shows like “Fear The Walking Dead” and “Hell On Wheels.”

“Emma and Carrie are talented executives, great friends, and trusted colleagues who made meaningful contributions to our original programming group for many years. We are their biggest fans and are rooting for them as they move on to pursue new opportunities,”  an AMC spokesperson said in a statement.
