Amuz Distribution’s Alex Avon, VP of Global Distribution announced that the company renewed its distribution partnership with Casablanca Productions for two years to globally represent six comedy/dramedy series, including two new crime dramedy series -- "The Clan" and "5e Rang".

The new agreement for the renewal series includes "The Invincibles", a dramedy about 4 men, about to turn 30, who attempt to revive their younger carefree days by making a pact to all break up with their girlfriends. The series follows the men and the women in their lives as they struggle to balance their desire for freedom and need for stability. Ultimately, they all come to realize that you can’t put off being an adult forever. This series has been adopted in France and Germany.

"The Phoenix" is a heart-warming series follows two long-time female friends, with very different temperaments, who embark on a road trip after the death of a husband, exploring the universal themes of grief and transformation.

"Anyway" is an award-nominated comedy series featuring the loving, stormy, and genuinely funny relationship between a mother, and her two adult children living in the big city.

"Writers Block" is an award-winning comedy series about two hapless tv showrunners who experience creative failure for season 1 of their crime series but are obligated to create a second season. Their desire to acquire genuine criminal experiences leads to hilarity and major trouble. In June 2023 Gaumont U.S. secured the rights to produce a Spanish version of the series which will be filmed in Mexico in 2024.

TWO NEW SERIES
Two new tittles have added to the Amuz Distribution portfolio: "The Clan" (2 Season), a dramedy series following Yannick Moreau, a repentant criminal, who lives hidden under a new identify in witness protection.

"5e Rang" (2019-2023 Crime series -- 5 Seasons) A woman, mother, eldest of five sisters, and devoted heir to the family farm, Marie-Luce has her world turned upside down when her husband, Guy, dies. As a matter of fact, he is found half-eaten in the pig pen.

Avon stated: “Amuz Distribution is pleased that Casablanca Productions has continued to entrust us to represent their high-quality, award-winning series around the world. We are especially thrilled to add two new exciting series 'The Clan' and '5e Rang' to our portfolio, which support our mission of 'keeping the world feeling good' with premium content.”

Charles Ohayon, Sales Executive, Casablanca Productions International Distribution said, “We are very happy to partner with Amuz Distribution for the distribution of our productions. Their vast distribution network will allow our projects to live abroad, reaching new audiences and allowing for international appreciation of our beloved series.”
