The production company behind "God’s Gang", a 2.5D animated series for 9–19-year-olds that launched last year to huge success, will release its highly anticipated second episode "What’s Cooking?" on YouTube and social media platforms on Wednesday 17th July. It will also be in a new 4 and a half minute format to fit social media platforms and reach an even wider audience.

The first episode of "God’s Gang" has already gained huge momentum online, with the 13-minute pilot bringing in over 10 million views and the God’s Gang franchise bringing in over 1.7 million subscribers and followers across platforms.

The release of the new episode follows the recent news on the expansion of God’s Gang’s advisory board, with Netflix Animation VP Bruce Daitch, DreamWorks’ Sheri Conn, Toonz Media Group’s Bruno Zaika all joining this year and Nickelodeon’s Mark Taylor.

At the core of God's Gang are four extraordinary characters: SumoSlim, TaeKwonHindu, NinJew, and ChrisCross, each hailing from different corners of the globe and representing different faiths. Through the exciting combination of martial arts, diverse cultures, and religions, the show offers a unifying and uplifting experience for viewers of all backgrounds.

PEACE AND JOY
"God’s Gang" is designed with a universal appeal that is more than just entertainment; it's an education in seeing past differences. It demonstrates how compassion, empathy, and humour can create stronger bonds than any cultural divide.

The series hails from a talented group of creatives including creator Nimrod Avraham May, Emmy and Grammy award-winning head writer Rob Kutner, and series director Ehud Lansberg (Transformers"). The team also worked with an inter-faith advisory board to ensure the most authentic representation of the religions on-screen.

Nimrod Avraham May, creator of the series, says, “This second episode is the product of the passion of an incredible and diverse team to bring peace and joy to the world when it’s needed the most. As a father myself, it’s a dream of mine to show children and adults alike that acceptance and love is the key to a prosperous life, and this will be reflected in every episode of 'God’s Gang'. Our goal is to create a universal brand highlighting shared values and connection between people regardless of their cultural background, beliefs and location - as long as they believe in love!”
