Banijay Productions Germany to produce "Big Bounce Battle"

Banijay Productions Germany confirmed plans to produce "Big Bounce Battle" for RTL. The third series of the show is set to air in 2023 after a four-year hiatus. "'Big Bounce Battle' is colorful, dynamic, and packed with adrenaline, making it the perfect watch for all ages," Arno Schneppenheim, Managing Director of Banijay Productions Germany said. "We are excited to work with RTL once more and see contestants from all walks of life compete in the new series, which will be more entertaining and exhilarating than ever.”

Created by Endemol Shine Nederland, "Big Bounce Battles" IP first aired in Germany in 2018. The title received significant positive feedback, making it as the highest-rated new unscripted show that year as well as RTL’s highest-rated game show in four years for the German commercial target, which includes adults ages 14-49.  

The project has also made its way to territories such as France and the US where "Big Bounce Battle" received a primetime Emmy nomination for Best Game Show. “This format is visually powerful and full of jeopardy, topped off with some awe-inspiring moves," Lucas Green, Global Head of Content Operations at Banijay said. "Banijay Productions Germany has done a fantastic job reinvigorating the show, which is now bigger, bouncier and back with a bang.”

In "Big Bounce Battle," a talented trampoline athletes aged between 10 and 55 will take part in this fast- paced physical game show, which will test their endurance, agility and balance. To reach the final, the contestants must take part in elimination heats compiled of parkour obstacles, which will have them leaping, bouncing, and twisting. Only the finalist, who completes the specially designed trampoline course in the fastest time, will take home the incredible cash prize. Big Bounce Battle combines the fun-packed competitive energy of a game show, with the high production value of a talent contest and is sure to make you want to jump out of your seat.
