BBC announced that its original comedy "Things You Should Have Done,” produced by Roughcut TV, has been recommissioned for a second series on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. Created by Lucia Keskin, the six-part series will bring another dose of hilariously offbeat, dysfunctional family-sitcom. Recently, it won Best Comedy Programme at the Broadcast Digital Awards.

The series follows self-confessed stay-at-home daughter Chi, as she navigates her way through a list of "Things You Should Have Done" left by her late parents. Chi is forced to fend for herself and has to learn to juggle the demands of modern life whilst having to prepare for the arrival of her highly strung Auntie Karen’s (Selin Hizli) baby. Dave (Dan Fearne) and Lucas (Jamie Bisping) will also return as a loveable father and son caught up in the chaos.

Lucia Keskin said: “The BBC gave us the devastating news that we have to go again for series two which means I might actually have to work again. Gutted.”

Steve Monger, Producer, added: “We go again! Another trip to sunny Ramsgate by way of Chi’s brilliant imagination. Very much look forward to bringing the dysfunctional family back to your screens.”

Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, commented: “In ‘Things You Should Have Done,’ Lucia has created something brilliantly surreal and totally unique. We can’t wait to see what else is on Chi’s list and what other antics will be unleashed on the unsuspecting locals of Ramsgate.”

"Things You Should Have Done" (6x30) is a Roughcut TV production for BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. It was commissioned by Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy. The series is created and written by Lucia Keskin, produced by Steve Monger, directed by Jack Clough and the Executive Producers are Ash Atalla and Alex Smith. The BBC Commissioning Editor is Tanya Qureshi.
