Blue Ant International has acquired exclusive rights to the Amazon Original, premium documentary series "Three Mothers, Two Babies and a Scandal." "'Three Mothers, Two Babies and A Scandal' offers unrivaled access to the women at the centre of a media firestorm, weaving a rich narrative that has all the ingredients to captivate worldwide audiences: kidnapping, black magic, unfit parents and four separate contests for custody,”  Blue Ant International’s Global Head of Content Financing & Partnership, Ben Barrett, said. “It’s exemplary of the kind of non-fiction, premium stories that Blue Ant International has to offer, and that are sure to help our clients attract new subscribers and ratings.”

Produced by Scottish indie Firecrest Films for Prime Video UK, "Three Mothers, Two Babies and a Scandal" was directed by Alice McMahon-Major with Zehra Yas serving as producer and Firecrest Film’s Nicole Kleeman and Vari Innes serving as executive producing. Blue Ant International solidified deals with Prime Video for various additional markets including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Nordics, with distribution rights available on a global scale.

The three-part story follows the internet adoptions of twin babies, by two separate families on two different continents, and the Trans-Atlantic custody battle and media storm that ensued. International sales will launch at London Screenings with rights negotiated by Ben Barrett, Blue Ant International’s Global Head of Content Financing & Partnership. The title originally launched exclusively on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland in November 2022. "Told in three parts through intimate testimony, the women at the heart of what happened, speak together to tell their own story for the first time. The docuseries revisits the thorny twists and turns in a custody case for twin girls, through each of the mothers’ eyes: Tranda, the birth mother, Vickie, the American adoptive mother and Judith, the Welsh adoptive mother," a recent release states."Their perspectives are different, but their commonality is how each was vilified as bad role models, bad mothers, bad wives and bad women. Each episode is told from one woman’s perspective, presenting their different versions of events."
