Blue Ant Media Launches Suite of FAST Channels on LG Channels

The North American launch will offer Total Crime and Homeful on Love Nature on LG Channels in the U.S., and Homeful, HauntTV and CrimeTime in Canada.

Blue Ant Media recently confirmed plans to launch a suite of its free, ad-supported TV (FAST) channels have launched on LG Channels in the U.S. and Canada recently at the Banff World Media Festival.

“We’re excited to bring our growing slate of free streaming offerings, full of exclusive content, to LG Channels’ audiences,” President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media,  Jamie Schouela, said. “Consumers can find the LG Channels app as soon as they power up their screen and engagement is growing quickly in both the US and Canada.” 

The launch is intended to leverage Blue Ant Media’s momentum and expansion into the growing free streaming space in North America and other regions.The initiative also grants LG Channels audiences unlimited and free access to Blue Ant Media’s extensive library of curated programming line-ups on each channel and grows its existing partnership with LG Electronics, which launched Love Nature in the U.S. in 2020. 

In the U.S. the true crime channel Total Crime and home renovation channel Homeful join wildlife and nature channel Love Nature on LG Channels. In Canada, LG Channels now includes Homeful, the paranormal-themed channel, HauntTV, and Total Crime’s sister channel, CrimeTime. The announcement comes ahead of a panel taking place today at the Festival entitled, "The FAST/AVOD market is exploding - what’s in it for you?," which includes Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media, as a panelist.
