Calinos Entertainment’s drama “Farah” travels to Spain

Calinos Entertainment announced that its Turkish hit drama “Farah” has been acquired by Mediaset España. The show has been sold to more than 30 countries in 2023.

Calinos Entertainment announced that its Turkish hit drama “Farah” has been acquired by Mediaset España. Starring globally acclaimed talents Demet Ozdemir and Engin Akyurek, “Farah” has been sold to more than 30 countries in 2023 including Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Romania, and MENA, and it had its premiere on Tring TV in Albania on January 3.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Mediaset España once again by bringing our newest drama ‘Farah’ to the Spanish market. ‘Farah’ has already become an international phenomenon, especially on social media platforms around the world, due to the popularity of the cast and its captivating storyline,”  said Goryana Vasileva, Europe Sales Manager at Calinos Entertainment.

Produced by O3 Medya “Farah” is the story of an Iranian refugee woman, who found herself in the middle of the mafia-police war and an unpredictable love with her hunter Tahir. With Farah’s son Kerimsah, all three together, have created a family, against all odds around them. But the love between Farah and Tahir is tested even harder at the second season when Behnam, the father of Kerimsah who was known as dead, arrives to get his so-called “family” back.
