Casta Diva Entertainment, the new business unit for the TV industry, sharing offices with Casta Diva Pictures (part of Casta Diva Group), has already had, over just 7 months, the opportunity to stand out from its competitors, creating a great series of new projects while keeping up with the big multinational companies in this sector.
“We are delighted with the brilliant results achieved over just seven months of activity,” says Massimo Righini, Chief Creative Officer of Casta Diva Entertainment. "Among the shows already created for Discovery, we are very proud of 'Back in time - A fairy-tale love,' an original project that we created, starting from intuition. In addition to these, we are working on the production of three documentaries, and the scripted line has already started; we are about to create our first biopic of a great character in Italian history."
"Finally, we are working to produce five interesting scripted projects in Italy, two of which are musicals, but the element that satisfies us the most is the interest of foreign countries in our original projects: we are, in fact, dealing on an international level to sell our formats to other countries, showing that we have not only thought of something exciting and unpublished but that we have also managed to access unexplored fields; this gives us a lot of energy acknowledging that despite Casta Diva Entertainment has just been founded, is already on the right path", Righini concludes.
The first unpublished format signed by Casta Diva Entertainment is "Tarabaralla," a cooking show (exclusively on discovery+, the streaming service part of Discovery group) dedicated to pastry with Damiano Carrara, dealing with VIPs and influencers who will try to create sweet recipes, good and above all for Instagram.
Another format dedicated to cooking, but completely different, will be "C'è ciccia": Luca Terni, chef and butcher, from September on Food Network, will lead the audience to an original journey to discover the typical and most delicious dishes of the Tuscan tradition. For motor enthusiasts, in September on Motor Trend, "Fare detailing con Marcello Mereu" will be launched, dealing with the secrets of car care: the show will reveal to the public which operations and procedures to implement to keep your vehicle in the best possible conditions.
Finally, the real flagship, an original product created by Casta Diva: "Back in time - A fairytale love," a dating show wearing costumes, set in the 19th century, which will take the protagonists back in time to look for their soul mate without technology. This title will be broadcast on the discovery + streaming platform.
Founded in January 2021 by Massimo Righini, Casta Diva Entertainment becomes a quality content provider on the Italian scene. It immediately started as a creative hub, working mainly on both scripted and unscripted original shows. Over these months, original reality shows have been created, and 5 different Discovery productions have been finalized: some of these are ready to be on air and, during next autumn, they will be thrilling the public, ranging from cooking to engines including, inevitably, love stories.
