ComediHa! Distribution announced that Wildbrain will distribute "LOL ComediHa!" for FAST and AVOD platforms. Under the terms of the agreement, WildBrain will hold exclusive FAST and AVOD distribution rights worldwide for the title, excluding YouTube, Canada and Italy.
"LOL ComediHa!" is sold in more than 148 countries and territories, and has also been adapted in China. The comedy series features color characters, showing them as they experience unpredictable impact to the world around them, such as incompetent nuclear engineers, ruthless paramedics, impatient leaders, unlucky parachutists.
For 11 years, the series has relied on high production value thanks to its photography, visual effects, and international location shoots, which include Cuba, Las Vegas, Morocco, Greece, Switzerland, and Mexico, among various others. Throughout the years, the team developed an expertise for situation comedy as well as benefiting from international cast members. LOL ComediHa! now has more than 3 million subscribers on various social networks, with more than 30 million views per month.
ComediHa! counts with the support of 80 full-time employees and more than 3,200 temporary and freelance staff, the agency’s head office is in Quebec City, with satellite offices in Montreal and Hollywood. The agency is also the creator of the French-language comedy festival in the world, ComediHa! Fest in Quebec City.
