Globo and Gaumont, the Paris-based studio announced their first partnership this Thursday, the 23rd, at Content Americas. In celebration of the Year of Brazil in France and France in Brazil, the two companies will co-produce a series set in the world of haute couture. The project will also involve Conspiração and Ventre Studios in its development.
Manuel Belmar, head of Digital Products and CFO of Globo, celebrated the deal:"We are celebrating Globo’s 100th anniversary and Gaumont turns 130 in 2025, which highlights the strength and tradition of both companies on the international sphere. We are very happy with this partnership, which will bring premium content not only to Brazilians, but also to audiences in other countries," highlighted.
